Instructor training
The Welbi Pilates training program is a comprehensive 200-hour course, including studio instruction spread over four weekends, practice and teaching hours, and assignments. The program is designed to develop strong, confident, and fully equipped instructors.
It covers a whole repertoire from beginner to intermediate-advanced level, with a host of adaptations, variations and strategies to accompany each body, regardless of their situation.
You will learn the fundamental principles of Pilates, how to create creative flows, and teaching methods. With mentorship, teaching practice, and various assignments, you will be a new instructor ready to teach a full class with ease, consistency, and confidence.

Price: $2650 + tax for full certification
- First payment upon booking: $1250 non-refundable deposit
- 2nd payment: $1250 before a date TBD, before the start of the training.
Following the theoretical training in the studio, a certificate will be issued to the prospective instructor. However, official certification will only be granted upon successful completion of the exam.
The exam is by appointment, at a cost of $150 , and is accessible after completing the required hours of personal practice, teaching practice, observation, and assignments.

Brief overview
The training is given by Kélyanne, co-founder of Welbi Pilates and Lead Instructor. It will be held in person to cover the complete exercise repertoire. Be prepared to move, learn, and teach quickly. There are assignments as well as several hours of personal practice, observation, and teaching practice to complete in order to be eligible for the exam.
- For teaching practice hours, certain time slots will be communicated to you so that you can access a Reformer to practice teaching at the studio, with your guinea pig, outside of scheduled classes.

When will I be ready to teach?
Normally, such a certification takes between 3 and 6 months to complete, due to the required hours of personal practice. That said, you can take as much time as you need since the exam is by appointment. You will have a maximum of one year after completing the training to take the certification exam.
- It's possible that you could teach in a studio after your theoretical training and when you feel ready, even before you have your official certification. It all depends on your level of comfort and the opportunities available to you.
